Kaplan Academy of Kansas (KAKS) serves students in grades 9-12 and gives access to a complete curriculum not available in many schools. We offer scheduling flexibility, provide online access to coursework, and allow students to work at their own pace. By providing alternatives to traditional public schools, KAKS empowers students to get an education in the way that works best for them.

ONE

Complete and submit your Application Form to Kaplan Academy of Kansas.

TWO

When school begins, log in and work on your courses from the provided Internet-connected computer. Assignments, tests, and quizzes are online 24/7.

THREE

Succeed at your own pace. Our curriculum is designed to suit various learning styles and skill levels. Meet due dates while working at your own speed.

FOUR

Get real help when you need it. For each course, you are assigned an experienced, certified teacher who is accessible via virtual whiteboard, phone, email, or Instant Message (IM). You will also be assigned an Academic Coach to help you keep on track.

FIVE

Earn a diploma, or have the credits transferred to your traditional school.* Upon completion of all required credits, your diploma will be issued by the Leavenworth Public School District 453.

* If you are working toward a diploma at another school, please confirm in advance that your school will accept the transfer of Kaplan Academy of Kansas credits.
